FAQs

Q?

What is test and tagging?

A.

Test and Tagging is the process of:

  • Visually Inspecting
  • Electronically Testing
  • Reporting

For all of your electrical appliance on your premise.

Q?

How often do I need to test and tag?

A.

Testing frequencies depends on two aspects:

  • Location of the item - is the item tested in a low risk area like an office or is it in a high risk area like a factory/workshop.
  • Type of item - Some items are subject to more stress & strain like a laptop charger, other items such as a computer monitor are less likely as they don't move.

AS/NZ 2760:2010 states the required frequencies of all items for testing, which our technicians use to determine what frequency to apply to an item after testing.

Q?

Will testing disrupt our work or staff?

A.

At ServiceCorp - Test and Tag we aim to have minimal disruption possible, we do this through a number of procedures. However if you are still worried about this, we are happy to visit you workplace before/after hours or on weekends for no extra charge.
